Flipperball

HAVE YOU EVER PLAYED FLIPPER BALL??

INTER-SCHOOL FLIPPERBALL COMPETITION!!

Flipperball is a junior version of Water polo, but the players are able to touch the bottom of the pool.  The competition is run year-round and will be played in our indoor heated pools on a Wednesday afternoon after school.

Teams of 7 compete in the water to win the game by scoring the most points.

In a nutshell, the four key rules are –

·         One hand only

·         No contact

·         Swim (not walk) with the ball in hand

·         Players cannot push the ball under the water

Being water-safe is important in New Zealand, and by joining our competition your children will keep their water skills up-to-scratch all the while having fun with their friends.
