Our aim is to provide a quality service, while maintaining good customer relationships.
SwimMagic term lessons coincide with the school term.
Term Lessons will not run on Public Holidays or in the school holidays.
A ‘Holiday Intensive’ programme will be offered during the school holidays at an additional cost.
Children under 8 must have parental supervision at all times anywhere within the facility.
All children 8 years and under must be collected at the conclusion of their classes.
Health and Safety
Please do not bring your child to lessons if they have vomiting or diarrhea.
Your child is not allowed to swim for two weeks after their diarrhea is finished.
A Booking is only deemed confirmed on full payment.
A 10% discount will be granted to families with three or more swimmers upon the full payment of fees.
Swimmers who are enrolled in two sessions per week in the SwimMagic programme will be offered 20% off the second swim.
We are not obliged to offer makeup lessons unless you hold term insurance.
Entitlements for Term Insurance
Term Insurance is available at a cost of $20 per term and must be purchased prior to any missed lesson/s.
Make up lessons are subject to availability and the date when insurance was purchased.
Make up lessons can not be booked in advance of missed lessons.
This is available for New Clients only. You must be a registered Plunket Child and only applies to Babies and preschoolers for their first set of lessons. Term Insurance and/or make ups are not available.
Cancellation of lessons
SwimMagic is under no obligation to provide refunds should you miss lessons or wish to cancel paid lessons. Refunds will be provided under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Facility Manager.
A medical certificate may be required.
A $35 administration fee will apply and the processing time will take a minimum of seven working days.
Only enrolled students are entitled to use our facilities ON THE DAY OF THEIR LESSON.
Parents and Caregivers wishing to swim on the day of their children’s lessons can also purchase V.I.P cards at our discounted rate of $40.00 or alternatively pay casual admission.
Parents of enrolled pre-schoolers under the age of 5 years are eligible for an adult complimentary V.I.P swimming card. This is only valid on the day of the lesson.
V.I.P passes will only be issued upon the full payment of the term fees.
Entry Swipe Card
Each student must use their swipe card at reception to gain admission.
Lost or stolen cards must be reported to the swim school.
Replacement cards are $5
Any missed classes may be used as casual entry only within the term enrolled and/or the holidays following immediately after.
Children under 3: must wear water nappies. (No disposable nappies)
All children should wear suitable swim attire (togs). Boxer shorts & underwear are not acceptable.
Goggles are compulsory for children 3 years and up.
SwimMagic aims to provide consistency in the programme, however if the need arises, we reserve the right to change / replace instructors, modify lesson times and change/cancel classes at our discretion and without notice.
SwimMagic reserves the right to request that parents do not interact with their child during lessons and to remain seated and away from lessons to ensure a smooth and enjoyable lesson for all participants.
SwimMagic must be made aware of any medical / behavioral or learning issues that may affect our ability to teach your child and other children in the class effectively.
In the event of a pool closure during lessons, a dry land session will be provided where possible.
