AQUAROBICS
Come and join our friendly instructors on a Monday to Friday basis, for a variety of low impact workouts designed to suit all ability levels. Our Aqua Aerobics classes have been specifically designed to challenge and improve your fitness, strength, stamina and flexibility. Everyone stands to benefit from water exercise, from elite level athletes, through to those recovering from injury or those that are just looking for variety in their exercise programme.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Aqua Fit
A cardio-based workout to suit most ability levels. A great workout for someone looking to lose weight, increase fitness and tone muscles, using both shallow and deep water with a variety of moves. Classes are Monday 9:30am and Thursday 9:30am.
Aqua Deep
A 60 minute deep water workout. You have the option to wear a buoyancy belt to assist with floatation. Focusing on breathing, posture and core abdominals to get you through a fat burning workout. Classes are Tuesday at 7:00pm and Wednesday at 9:30am.

Aqua Power
A workout designed to work with the resistance water can provide by utilizing noodles, dumbbells and barbells to help strengthen the whole body. Focusing on dynamic power moves. Classes are Monday 7:00pm, Wednesday 7:00pm, and Friday at 9:30am.
Hydro Stretch and Movement Level 1
Level 1 is a great place for beginners to start their water experience. Designed to suit the elderly, disabled and those recovering from injury or disease. Focusing on total wellbeing, the programme's goal is to provide gentle activities using functional movements that will improve mobility, strength, flexibility and fitness to contribute to an enhanced quality of life. Classes are Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00am.

Hydro Stretch and Movement Level 2
A more intense workout than level 1 classes. Level 2 focuses on building basic strength and fitness using the water and aqua toys for added resistance. Classes are Monday 12:00pm, Wednesday 8:00am and Friday 12:00pm.
Aqua Early Bird
An early morning workout to allow your aqua fix before work. A great way to start your morning with a full-on cardio workout for all ages. Classes are Thursday 6:15am.

Fifties Forward
An enjoyable workout for those 50 years and over. Working between deep and shallow water, using most of the equipment available to perform a wide range of moves in a circuit-style format. Classes* are Tuesday & Thursday -Land Class at 10:00am and Tuesday & Thursday Aqua Class at 11:00am.
*Please note that Fifties Forward Aqua Classes are open to the public at the same rate as other aqua classes, but the Land Class is restricted to paid-up members of Whangarei Fifties Forward Inc.
