AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Award 2017 - Lisa Stove (SwimMagic Richmond)
Lisa Stove the SwimMagic Coordinator at Richmond Aquatic Centre took out the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Award at the 2017 AUSTSWIM Aotearoa conference. This award recognises the excellence, commitment and innovation of an individual in the teaching of swimming and water safety in New Zealand. This award recognises the contribution this individual has had to the aquatic industry and the wealth of experience and knowledge they have.
Lisa has worked in the swim school industry for over 20 years in a number of different roles including swim teaching, training staff and managing a large swim school. Her passion for swimming and water safety is infectious and the number of teachers she has inspired over the year is in the hundreds.
We are extremely proud of Lisa, Craig Carter (CLM CEO) said “he is rapt that Lisa has been recognised for her years of delivering outstanding water safety/swim school lessons in the Nelson and Marlborough regions”. “Lisa truly is a Legend and has had a positive effect on 1000’s of families , so rapt that she has received national recognition”.
