Event Assistant

CLM manages the Trafalgar Centre, Trafalgar Park/Pavilion, Greenmeadows and Community venues in Nelson. We are looking for an Event Assistant to be part of our exciting team.

The Role
To excel in this role you won’t need venue experience but a background in event management would be beneficial.

We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual who is able to engage with a range of people from Council to key stakeholders and event hirers. We are looking for someone who is able to get stuck in and assist hirers plan and deliver outstanding events.

Duties and responsibilities expected of the Event Assistant include but are not limited to:
• Providing hirers of the Venues with industry leading customer service
• Ensuring the Venues Health and Safety policies are followed
• Deliver outstanding events that maximise the reputation of the Venues
• Perform some administration duties
A full driver’s license is required to complete this role.
