Facility Rules
GENERAL FACILITY RULES
- Respect staff and other users – abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Children 13 years and under must be actively supervised by a caregiver aged 18 years or older.
- No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drugs on site.
- Please use designated eating areas.
- Follow staff directions at all times.
- Keep personal belongings in lockers or designated storage areas; the centre is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Photography or video recording is not permitted without prior approval.
- Service animals only – no pets allowed.
- Shirts/tops must be worn at all times.
- If you hear the fire alarm, you must evacuate immediately, even during a drill.
GYM RULES
- Users must be 14 years or older to access the fitness centre.
- Anyone under 18 years must have parental/guardian consent before using the gym.
- Always use a towel when training.
- Wipe down equipment after use.
- Return weights, mats, and other gear to their designated places.
- Closed-toe shoes are required at all times.
- Respect others.
- No dropping weights or disruptive behaviour.
- Do not monopolise equipment during busy times – limit use to reasonable periods.
- Spotters are recommended when lifting heavy weights.
- Report faulty or damaged equipment to staff immediately.
- No food in the gym area; water in sealed containers only.
- Headphones must be used when listening to personal music or media.
STADIUM RULES
- Non-marking footwear only on the stadium floor.
- Food, drink, and glassware are not permitted on courts.
- Use only the booked space – do not interfere with other groups.
- Children must always be actively supervised.
- No hanging or climbing on hoops, nets, or equipment.
- Stadium equipment must be used for its intended purpose only.
- Casual use of courts is available when not booked – please check with reception.
- No chewing gum on the courts.
- All users must follow the booking schedule – be ready to vacate on time.
- Only equipment approved by staff may be brought into the stadium.
- Organised coaching or paid sessions must be approved by management.
VENUE HIRE RULES
- Hirers must arrive and depart at the booked times. Set up and pack down must be included in the booking.
- Rooms must be left clean and tidy – bring your own rubbish bags and take rubbish off site. Furniture must be returned to the original layout.
- Alcohol is not permitted without written approval/authorisation and the appropriate licence.
- Noise must be kept to a reasonable level and respectful of other centre users.
- Any damage to facilities or equipment will be charged to the hirer.
- The centre reserves the right to refuse hire to groups not meeting community standards or safety requirements.
- Hirers are responsible for the behaviour and safety of all attendees.
- Fire exits and access ways must be kept clear at all times.
- All electrical equipment brought in must comply with safety regulations.
SQUASH COURT RULES
- Bookings must be made prior to play.
- Non-marking footwear must be worn at all times.
- Eye protection is strongly recommended.
- Please use squash equipment only.
- Food, drink, and glassware are not allowed in courts.
- Report any damage to staff immediately.
- Players must vacate the court promptly at the end of their booking.
- All players must wear appropriate sports attire.
- Courts must be kept dry – no play if the floor is slippery or wet.
