Pool Rules

General Rules

  • Walk, Don't run poolside
  • NO Pushing
  • NO Bombing
  • Glassware and food is prohibited poolside
  • This is a non smoking facility
  • Please shower before using the pools
  • Do not leave property unattended. Paid lockers are available
  • Children 4 years of age and under MUST be accompanied in the pools by a parent/caregiver that is 17 years or older*
  • Children 5 - 10 years of age MUST be actively supervised by a parent/caregiver that is 17 years or older. Actively supervised means that you know where your child is at ALL times and are able to see, hear them and they are able to see and hear you. You must also be able to provide immediate assistance*


  • Children 4 years and under - One adult can supervise two children 4 years and under only
  • Children 5 - 10 years old - One adult can supervise four 5 - 10 year olds only
  • Also if an adult has one child 4 years and under, they can only have three children 5 - 10 years old only

Spa/Steam/Sauna Rules

  • You must be 17 years or older
  • You must have purchased a pre paid wrist band from reception
  • Risk of dehydration - Please stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
  • We recommend while using the Sauna and Steam room that you use it for 5 to 10 minutes at a time with regular breaks for a maximum time of about 30 minutes
  • Please sit on a towel at all times while using the Sauna and Steam rooms
  • While in the Spa pool please adhere to our correct swimwear policy
  • Do not put water or oils on the Sauna elements
  • Do not use the Sauna or Steam room if you are pregnant or suffer from heart disease, high or low blood pressure or circulatory problems. If you are in any doubt about your ability to use the Sauna and Steam rooms please consult your doctor
  • If you feel nauseous, dizzy or faint or feel any discomfot please leave the Spa/Steam/Sauna immediately!!

Swimwear Policy

Here at Massey Park pool for health and safety reasons you must follow these points:

  • NO T-shirts or singlets of any kind
  • NO Denim of any kind
  • NO Boxer shorts
  • NO bras or camisoles
  • Togs, swimming shorts (above the knee) and rash tops are advised

Hydro slide Rules

  • You must be wearing the appropriate wristband. Please see reception
  • Access is controled by a lifeguard
  • Children 1.2m or taller can ride the slide, however children age under 10 years old must be actively supervised by a caregiver 17 years or over, standing at the bottom of the slide, at all times to provide immediate assistance.  (Rider may be requested a measurement check at reception, when purchasing their band).
  • Tandem riding is not permitted. You must ride one at time when the light says GO
  • You must ride on your back with your feet first
  • No tubes are allowed on the slide
  • Do not stop or stand while in the slide, this can result in major injury
  • Remove eye wear and jewellery before riding.
  • If you knowingly or suspect that you suffer from a health condition or disability (e.g. pregnancy, recent surgery, chronic back pain or heart condition) do not ride the slide
