Our Facility Rules
Keeping the Mt Albert community safe while using our facility is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us keep you safe we ask you to please follow our facility rules.
SUPERVISION POLICY
Children 5 - 10 years: MUST be actively supervised by a caregiver 17 years or over. Actively supervised means:
- Watching your children at all times to be able to provide immediate assistance.
- At a close distance where you can see, hear and be heard by your child and your child must be able to see you.
Children 4 years and under:
- In pools other than shallow toddler pools, children must be accompanied in the pool and within arm's reach.
Mix ages:
- One adult to two under 4yr's and under
- One adult to four 5 - 10yr's
- One adult to one 4yr's and under and three 5 - 10yr's
Actively supervising means:
- You are watching your children aged 4 years and under within arms' reach
- You are ready to help your children aged 5-10 years immediately. You should be near your children so you can hear them and they can hear you.
- Any additional children will require an extra caregiver who is at least 17 years old.
- We do not consider you to be actively supervising if you are using a mobile phone, in a sauna, steam room, spa, or different area of the pool.
- If you aren't able to meet the minimum adult-to-child supervision ratio you will be denied entry to the facility until ratios are met.
APPROPRIATE SWIMWEAR
Appropriate Swimwear:
Rash Tops, Board shorts or any other swimming togs made of POLYESTER are suitable .
We DO NOT allow:
Any COTTON material T-shirts, Singlets, Basketball singlets, Rugby jerseys, Denim or Under garments.
Swim togs can be purchased at reception or hire rash tops

SAUNA RULES OF USE
- DO NOT USE if you are pregnant, have a serious illness, heart condition, high or low blood pressure, respiratory condition or any other medical condition which may affect your reaction to heat.
- Adults only 17 years or over.
- Take a break after 15 minutes.
- Hydrate regularly.
- Please DO NOT add oils, lotions or pouring water on elements/rocks.
- A TOWEL MUST BE USED to sit on.
- No spitting.
- Please shower and towel dry before and after use.
- A towel or mat must be used to sit on.
- The sauna may be closed at times throughout the day for cleaning and 15 minutes prior to the facility closing time.
GENERAL POOL RULES
- Have heaps of fun and enjoy your facility!
- All children 10 years and under must be supervised at all times by an adult 17 years and over.
- Please watch your children, not your mobile phones.
- Walking only please, no running on poolside.
- Please use designated eating areas, glassware and food are prohibited on poolside.
- Any abusive or unsocial behaviour will not be tolerated, please respect others at all times.
- This is a non-smoking facility.
- Please shower before using the pools.
- Do not leave property unattended. Paid lockers are available.
- Please report all accidents and incidents to our team immediately.
Hydroslide rules
• All riders must wear a wristband, purchased at reception.
• Lifeguards manage access to the slide, follow their instructions at all times.
• Children 1.1m or taller and aged 5+ may ride the slide on their own.
• Children 1.1m and under 5 years must ride with a caregiver aged 17 or older.
• Children aged 5-10 years must be actively supervised by a caregiver
17 years or older. Caregivers using the slide must ride first and wait at the bottom
to assist their child immediately.
• Ride on your back, feet first at all times.
• Go only on the green light and wait during the red light.
• Maximum two riders at a time.
• Do not slow down, stop, stand up, or turn around inside the slide.
• Exit the splash pool promptly and keep clear of the slide exit.
• Maximum combined rider weight: 180kg.
• No tubes allowed.
• No loose jewellery, watches, glasses, or swimwear with buckles or zippers.
• Not suitable for pregnant women or individuals with heart conditions or back injuries.
• You ride at your own risk.
