Welcome to CLM Health & Fitness frequently asked questions page. Here you will find the answers to many of the common questions you may run into when looking at joining our facility. If your question hasn't been answered on this page please do not hesitate to contact us.

Great Question, YES! As a CLM Health & Fitness member you get full access to everything at the facility – including Gym, Les Mills Group Fitness Classes, Swimming pool, Sauna and Spas. You can choose to add on some extra services on top of your membership such as swimming lessons, Weight Loss Solution programmes or personal training

Do I have to pay a joining fee?

No! However we do have a $49.00 one-of admin fee when joining, this applies to Direct Debit and Full Cash Memberships, this will be debited with your first payment.

How do I cancel my membership? 

First step is to come in and see us or alternatively give us a call. Next we can help you work out if you are still within your minimum term of your membership – if you are then you will be required to pay for a percentage of the remaining term on your membership. If you are not using the membership we suggest putting your membership on Trademe and transferring the reminder of the term to someone else.If you are outside your minimum term then we can set it to cancel down with just 10 days notice.

HELP, my account is overdue! Can I arrange payments?

Yes of course! Payments on your membership can be made at our reception desk or you can set up catch up payments arrangement directly with Debit Success the billing company – just call 0800 481 0400 www.debitsuccess.co.nz

I’m going away, can I suspend my payments?

YES! All memberships can be suspended for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months during each 12 month period for a cost of $10.00 per month. Exceptions can be made for medical and work related reasons on a case by case basis. The other option is for those members paying by Direct Debit via Debit Success is to ask us for a FITPASS this gives the member access to over 150 fitness centres across New Zealand for up to 10 days while you are outside of Auckland for whatever reason you want and no extra charge! My Doctor has given me a Green Prescription, what does that give me?

That’s awesome! Green Prescription is a program for patients with conditions that can be improved with regular physical activity. CLICK HERE for more information, If you have been given a Green Prescription by your doctor you will go through the following steps.Make an appointment with Green Prescription who will discuss with you the programme and go over your options with you.

I am under 18 can I still join the gym?

Anyone under 18 that wants to sign onto a direct debit will need a 3-way meeting with their parent, themselves and the Fitness Centre Coordinator to complete and electronically sign a membership application and all other relevant documentation. Please email byh@clmnz.co.nz to arrange a meeting, booking is required.

For ALL Direct Debit applications the parent/guardian will need to guarantor the membership if the under 18 applicant is paying themselves, this is non negotiable.

We require a signed under 18 pre screening be completed prior to anyone under 18 commencing physical activity in the gym, this applies to ‘Free Trials’ and concession cards also.

14-16 year olds are required to be actively supervised by a parent/guardian while they are training.

1. Our young Members count!
1.1. We believe exercise for all ages is very important and that’s why we have memberships for younger members!

2. As low as 14 years old!
2.1. Our minimum age for younger members is 14 years old.
Under 14…sorry you’ll just need to wait

3. Persons under the age of 18
3.1 As per the terms and conditions of Debitsuccess - no person under the age of 18 years of age may join on any membership agreement that involves payment over time, nor may they agree to any payment for services in the future via an agreement unless written permission is obtained by the persons parent or guardian.
3.2 A person under the age of 18 years must have a person over the age of 18 guarantee any payments.


4. Help please!
4.1. If you’re under 18 years of age, Mum or Dad (or a legal guardian) will need to read and authorise a few forms with you in the Club. You can come in and collect these forms or request them to be emailed to you, we will then organise a time when you and mum or dad (or a legal guardian can come into the club to finish the membership registration and sign up.


5. What can and can’t you do
5.1. Our 14-15 year old Members are required to be under the direct supervision of an adult who must come with them when they use the gym.
5.2. Our 16-17 year old members can come unsupervised during operational hours.
