Papakura Special Olympics

Papakura Special Olympics creates an opportunity for students with disabilities to train hard and strive to reach their goals in competitions held throughout the year. Every Sunday they hold their swim training at Massey Park Pool. With the support of Massey Park Pool, family, friends, and other community members, their athletes have won many medals and awards in recognition of their achievements.

Rosehill Special School

Rosehill Special School have a range of student with certain disabilities that utilise Masey Park Pool to get exercise and leisure as well as water safety confidence and skills. The students absolutely love swimming and enjoy swimming while building up their water confidence. They visit the facility every Monday & Thursday.

Counties Manukau Masters Swimming Club

Counties Manukau Masters Swimming Club

Counties Manukau Masters Swimming Club have sessions every Wednesday 6.30 - 7.30 pm. Their members swim for fitness, friendship, and fun. They have a number of club social activities, from monthly breakfasts to bowling and movie nights. Please feel free to turn up to any club session and make yourself known!

Wet Fit

WetFit is a deep-water rehabilitation and recovery program designed to help people recovering from injuries and disabilities. Every Monday morning, WetFit will provide one-on-one attention to clients, using our deep pool for a range of therapeutic exercises and therapies.

Auckland Rescue Helicopter

Every day Auckland Helicopter Rescue provides world-class water rescue services to the community. They use Masey Park Pool to maintain their in-water rescues and skills, as well as provide an environment to practice swimming in uniform for all their staff. We are proud to be able to provide our services for them so they can continue to do the amazing work they do.

New Zealand Army

The New Zealand Army uses Massey Park pool for fitness training and recovery every day. The Army use the lane pool for intense training sessions including deepwater in uniform swimming and spa, steam and sauna for recovery sessions.

Caring Families Aotearoa

Caring Families Aotearoa is a charity organisation set up to help families make lasting positive changes in their lives. Every year they visit Masey Park Pool to put on free community events that bring families together and provide a safe and fun day out for everyone involved. At their events, there is always free food and drinks, and a range of activities and entertainment for children.

Papakura Swim Club

The Papakura Swim Club is the entry point for young swimmers graduating from SwimMagic’s Gold squad to competitive swimming.

The programme provides a comprehensive coaching pathway after leaving SwimMagic’s “Learn to Swim” programme from junior level through to Senior Age Group swimmers competing at National and International level swim meets.
