Debbie Morris - Papakura Recreation & Fitness Centre Manager

Diploma in Community Recreation Facility Management

Debbie has worked over 20 years in the fitness industry as both a Fitness Instructor and Group Fitness Trainer. She gained her Diploma in Community Recreation Facility Management in 2010. Her passions are music, tennis, fishing and anything fitness related.

 

 Atawhai Tupaea - Fitness Coordinator 

Sport Recreation & Fitness Cert + Exercise Consultant.  

Atawhai has represented NZ Kiwi-Ferns Womens Rugby League 2014 - 2018. 1st & 2nd placed NRL Auckland nines, 1st Place Anzac test match scoring 2 tries, Worldcup 2nd Place Very passionate about sport, health + fitness as it runs throughout her family.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.

Kiel Tui - Fitness Instructor

Diploma in Sports & Recreation, BoxFit, XLR8 Coach

Kiel has been working in the fitness and recreation industry since 2008. He has a background in competitive power lifting. When he's not at work, you can find him playing amateur rugby.

BOX FIT class - Monday + Weds, 6pm

Rev / Spin class - Tuesday + Thurs (Must book) , 6am

 

Te Mataara Tawhitopau - Personal Trainer

Currently Studying my Bachelor of Sport and Recreation
Certificate in Fitness Level 4, 
Group Fitness Instructing

Exercise has always been a emotional release for me. Then comes performance - my competitiveness of getting stronger and better than what I was. And lastly aesthetics. I believe that when you train for how it makes you feel and the progressive satisfaction of what your body can do. I assure you'll never quit. 

Maxfit class - Wednesday, 9:30am

 

Annalise Taylor - Fitness Instructor

Currently a student at AUT studying Physiotherapy with a keen passion for Health and Fitness. I believe exercise improves more than physical fitness but your mental game aswell. I enjoy taking Boxing, HIIT and full body classes plus one on one sessions focusing on your health and fitness goals.

I believe anyone can start from any stage or age and get results, whether it's weight loss, strength, sports performance or just keeping fit and healthy. Juliet Wilson - Fitness Instructor

Level 3-4 Certificate in Fitness & Consulting

I'm currently studying personal training at NZIF in Manukau. I have a passion for health and fitness, and achieving results with anyone who wants to make that change in their lifestyle. My interests include Marathon Running, Netball, Squash, Tennis, circuit and HIIT training. I enjoy a good challenge and will give any sport a go!

Running Club - Saturday, 8:30am

 

Briar Heke - Fitness Instructor

Currently studying Bachelor of Sport and Recreation at AUT. Has played club and social netball for four years. Passionate about health and fitness, would like to make a change within the community to promote the importance of keeping fit and active for a healthier lifestyle. Enjoys spending time with family , friends and being involved in Kapa Haka.
