Move Over Cancer 2026

This March, the Otorohanga Memorial Pool Complex is proud to be supporting Move Over Cancer, a nationwide campaign rallying New Zealanders to take action for people affected by cancer.

How you can support Move Over Cancer at Otorohanga Memorial Pool:
🏊‍♂️ Aquathon – Monday, 30 March
⏰ 6:00am – 4:00pm
Join us for a full‑day Aquathon, where participants can book into 15‑minute time slots and choose how they move — walk, jog, swim, or even complete more than one time slot across the day.
Whether you’re moving for fun, fitness, or for someone close to your heart, every minute counts.

💪 Fundraising Group Fitness Classes – Koha Entry
All proceeds from the following classes will be donated to Move Over Cancer:

Monday 30 March – Group Fitness HIIT Class
Tuesday 31 March – Group Fitness Aqua Aerobics Class

Funds raised through Move Over Cancer go directly to the Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation (PINC & STEEL). Your donation supports the delivery of rehabilitation services to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it — restoring strength, reducing disability, easing pressure on families, and unlocking the survival benefits of exercise.
