Aqua Classes

During the Riverside Pool closure, there will be no Aquaclasses.
Please watch this space for when the classes will be returning in February 2021.
Alternatively, there is an Aqua class programme at Nayland Pool in January 2021.
Aqua Classes
Aqua Fitness at the Riverside Swimming Pool is a range of water-based group fitness classes. There is a variety of classes to suit all levels and abilities.
Aqua Deep
A 55-minute deep water class that combines water resistance with no-impact and uses different exercises to achieve a high aerobic cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. Aqua belts provided.
Aqua Jogging
A 55-minute class held in deep water with aqua belts on for buoyancy. This is a structured session incorporating exercise intensities and is a great cardio and muscle toning workout. Great recovery from exercise and great for injury rehabilitation.
Aqua Power
Aqua Power is a 50-minute high energy full-body workout where the impact is reduced due to the cushioning effects of the water. This class will challenge your cardiovascular capacity and muscular endurance. All while having fun in the shallow and deep end of the pool!
Aqua HIIT
This is a 45-minute high-intensity interval training aqua class or HIIT for short. It will be super challenging, it is a hit on your cardio system and not for the fainthearted.
Aqua Fit - Legends Class
A motivating and fun 45 minute class using mainly the shallow end of the pool. A workout emphasising cardiovascular fitness with strength and conditioning exercises, catering for the beginner to the advanced. The class is designed primarily for "Legends" but, even if you're under 50, we'll make sure you get a great exercise session!
Group Fitness Timetable
Aqua classes will be having a break over Christmas and New Years from 23 December 2020.
The Legends Strong class will return on Tuesdays on 12th January at 11.30 am at the Trafalgar Street hall.
