Move Over Cancer – Riverside Pool

Riverside Pool is proud to be supporting Move Over Cancer, a nationwide campaign encouraging New Zealanders to get moving and raise funds for life changing cancer rehabilitation.

The Movement
Join us for a community walk in pink, bringing people together to move with purpose, raise awareness, and support those affected by cancer.
Participants will meet at Riverside Pool before heading out on one of two guided walks, followed by the option to enjoy the gym, spa, or pool back at the centre.

How You Can Get Involved
Wear pink and walk together as a community
Make a donation on the day (collection at Riverside Pool)
Take part in one of the scheduled walks
Finish your morning with a session of your choice at the facility

Event Schedule

📍 Meet at Riverside Pool

Option 1
🕘 9:00am – Walk to the Centre of New Zealand, group photo at the top, then return to Riverside Pool

Option 2
🕙 10:00am – Walk to the Botanic Sports Field, group photo, then return to Riverside Pool

Funds raised through Move Over Cancer go directly to the Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation (PINC & STEEL). Your donation supports the delivery of rehabilitation services to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it — restoring strength, reducing disability, easing pressure on families, and unlocking the survival benefits of exercise.
