Legends Classes



With it being winter this class has moved indoors to the wonderful Trafalgar Park Pavilion.

On the following dates we will be in the Meeting Room at the Trafalgar st Hall
July 3rd and 31st
August 7th
September 4th and 11th

Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and sports shoes and being a water bottle and a yoga mat/towel.




It is well known that we may increase our life expectancy by staying physically active and exercising  regularly.

Our new LEGENDS STRONG CLASS is a workout that includes exercises to build endurance, strength and balance.
Regular exercise has been shown to help lower the chances of developing arthritis and chronic illnesses such as heart disease and diabetes.
Strength exercises may also help reduce the symptoms of arthritis, osteoporosis and diabetes, as well as ease lower back pain.
As recommended for this demographic we'll using our own body weight, (small hand weights and/or resistance bands will be incorporated into classes over time) in this class.
So if this sounds like a workout for you, bring your water bottle, yoga or thin mat/towel (to place on ground) and join Abbe on Tuesdays 9:30am at the Trafalgar Hall.

A fun 45 minute class using the shallow end of the pool. A workout emphasising cardiovascular fitness with strength, balance and conditioning exercises, catering for the beginner to the advanced.                    If this sounds like you join Abbe on Thursdays at 9:30am at Riverside Pool.

Using balloons to help us warmup and improve our balance and coordination..... and have a lot of laughs along the way! This activity brought out the competitiveness of many.....
