Entry Price Increase
As of the 1st of July, there will be an increase in entry charges at swimming pools in Palmerston North for the first time since 2019.
In order to address the additional cost pressures to maintain and operate the pools it has been decided to spread the cost between ratepayers and users. The additional revenue generated from the adjusted charges will be used to operate and maintain our three public pools.
It's important to note that while there will be an increase in our general entry charges, supervised under-fives will still continue to swim at our pools for free. We remain committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest swimmers.
We appreciate everyone’s continued support and understanding as we strive to maintain quality swimming pool services for our community.
