Aunties celebrate another 6 Week Challenge

Aunties celebrated the end of another “6 Week Challenge” on Saturday 19th June at Mangere Memorial Hall. The morning started with a one-hour Zumba session as a final activation before weighing in, having breakfast and finishing off with a “Prizegiving” where the winners were announced.

It was a great morning enjoyed by the Aunties, families and friends and also having Otahuhu-Mangere Local Board member Tauanu’u Nick Bakulich take time out to join the morning celebrations.

Another successful challenge with the winner losing a total of 7.85% and sharing that since joining the Aunties last year, her health has improved and now she is no longer a Diabetic.

The Aunties journey continues for 2021 with more challenges and doing it the Aunties way! Activating anytime, anyway, anywhere.
