Awhi the Mahi: August Volunteer of the Month

This August, our Awhi the Mahi Volunteer of the Month is Dave Johnson from Papakura City FC! Dave is a passionate volunteer with the club who stepped up into the role of President last year. His ultimate goal is to create a football hub that South Auckland can be proud of!

Dave loves thinking outside the box, especially when it comes to dreaming up ideas for engaging kids to get active - be it through football, or other programmes like dance, he's always working on new ways to keep our local tamariki up and moving.

Given the great success of his new dance initiative, we can't wait to see what else Dave has up his sleeve. A deserving recipient - keep up the mean Mahi, Dave!
