Aktive and our community delivery partners CLM Community Sport, Harbour Sport, Sport Auckland and Sport Waitākere would like to share a development opportunity for your coaches operating within clubs, schools and communities.
Coach Emerge is a generic Auckland-wide, values-based coach development programme for active foundation coaches from different sport and recreation activities. It aims to give new coaches (with less than three years’ experience) the latest knowledge, skills and confidence to provide quality experiences for children and young people in Tāmaki Makaurau.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to facilitate fun, effective and inspirational experiences for children and young people within their own sport and recreation environments.

Each programme will include three online Good Sports® modules and a practical element.

We would greatly appreciate your support to promote these programmes to your clubs, schools and organisations targeting foundation coaches.
(Please note: to access and enrol into these courses participants will need to have registered/logged in to their Sport Tutor account).

The course run by CLM will be two online sessions on Monday, November 16th and November 23rd 8 pm to 9 pm. Followed by a practical session to be co-ordinated with each participant. Participants who receive this information can register in any the courses that suit their location and schedules, regardless of where you live, work or coach.
