Girls’ Have-A-Go-Day

CLM Community Sport recently worked alongside St John the Evangelist Catholic School to support the school to host a Girls’ Have-A-Go-Day. The day was spearheaded by our Women and Girls Manger; Rose Te Hau who collaborated with the Healthy Active Learning team after the school expressed an interest in looking at ways they could increase their senior girls’ engagement in physical activity. Following on from the event, the Healthy Active Learning team will be continuing to work alongside the school to build upon the momentum gained from the day.

A huge thanks to all the providers who supported the event and to the students and teachers of St John the Evangelist Catholic School whose engagement and enthusiasm made the day what it was.
