Kura Cares food drive
Kura Cares Food Drive
Last Saturday our team were invited by Daljeet (NZ Sikh Games) to support the Kura Cares food drive. Maia Lewis and her son Eli, Shyanne Thompson, Sione Sione, Jeremy Clark and his son Jayden all jumped at the chance to join other organisations from the region in preparing food parcels.
It was great to see young rangatahi involved, with young Jayden commenting on the greater understanding he took away from being apart of the day. With all hands on deck, approx. 1000 parcels were filled with canned goods, fruit, vegetables and pasta perfect for creating wholesome meals for our families
Our team were proud to be part of the collective effort in serving our community during these challenging times.
