Tangaroa College Rangatahi - scaling to new heights!

Rangatahi Rock climbing is an initiative designed to engage both students & the wider community, utilising the rock wall which was installed in 2019.

Through Tu Manawa Active Aotearoa funding support, qualified instructors and additional safety equipment was sourced and now our South Auckland rangatahi (and their whānau) are able to climb, laugh & get active - in their hood, on their terms!

A massive mihi to the Tangaroa College crew for working with our Regional Sports Director Junior to secure the support to bring this kaupapa to fruition. 

Our new Rangatahi Recreation Advisors Lucky & Natalie are very keen to get amongst it and engage more of our community in this space.
