Welcome to our pool availability timetable. This quick and easy-to-read snapshot provides live and accurate lane availability info for all our pools. It’s simple; green means we have lots of space, yellow means we are kind of busy but still have space and red means our pool is closed or fully booked. If a number is displayed, that will be the number of lanes available at that specific time. It’s that easy! Now, dive on in and enjoy!

Pools for everyone
Our fantastic aquatic facilities consist of a 25m indoor pool with a wheelchair ramp, a toddlers' pool with an adjoining beach area perfect for the little ones.
The 25m pool has a depth starting at 1.05m and reaching over 2m at its deepest. This versatile pool allows for low-impact deep water aqua fitness classes, water safety courses, police swim test assessments while also catering for both canoe polo and scuba diving groups.
Navy Testing
For all those budding navy officers out there, Freyberg Community Pool is the place to undertake the compulsory initial swim test.
Our qualified and experienced instructors will take you through the test and provide feedback on your results.
COST: $26 - Note this cost includes one resit if you test unsuccessfully
PHOTO ID: All participants are required to bring government issued photo identification to be copied and filed with the test results.
Women's Only Swimming
Freyberg Community Pool's very own Women's only swimming night is a great opportunity to meet new friends, have a bit of fun and relax!
- Female only lifeguards & customer service team on duty
- NO males 5+ years of age are permitted - this will be strictly enforced
- Space for lane & leisure swimming
PLEASE NOTE - Women's only nights are run during the summer months of October - March.
