Terms & Conditions

General

- All groups must have a nominated point of contact, who is responsible for the group for the duration of the hire.

- All groups must comply with the facility health & safety policies at all times.

- All bookings must comply with the session times allocated and vacate the area at the conclusion of the booking time. (You are welcome to remain at the facility and keep using the pools).

- All facility rules are in effect throughout the hire.

- Requests for changes in group size or time must be made at least 3 days in advance.

- Adult supervisors (age 16+) are required for all children and youth groups. Children aged 5-10 years old must have adults actively supervising them at all times. Actively supervised means watching your child and able to provide immediate assistance. All children 5 years and under must be accompanied in the pool and be within arms reach of a caregiver aged 17 years or over at all times. The minimum requirement for children aged 5 years and under is 1 adult to 2 children. Schools and child care groups must adhere to their supervision guidelines as stipulated by the Ministry of Social Development and Ministry of Education.

- Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

- Facility personnel reserve the right to determine unacceptable behaviour of individual(s) while on the premises, with this right being to cancel a booking or request an offender to leave. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

- All patrons who enter the water must be attired in proper swimwear. NO T-shirts, singlets, jean shorts, boxers, bras, cotton clothing or street wear allowed in the pool.

- For the safety of all patrons, swim nappies are required for all under 4’s. Regular nappies are prohibited while swimming.

Hire Fees & Bond

- For reservation of all Birthday Party areas, full payment is due at the time of booking. In the event of a cancellation less than seven days from the date of the booking, payment becomes non-refundable.

- The balance of the booking charge and bond must be paid in full prior to the hire date, if not sooner, or as agreed with management.

- The hirer is liable for all damages that occur to the property and facility equipment as a result of the hiring groups actions.

- Payments not received by the due date may be referred to a debt collection agency. The hirer will be liable for all associated fees and any other costs associated with this debt collection.

Cancellations

- The facility must be given at least 7 days notice of cancellation. Written notice must follow oral notification.

- Refunds will be processed with at least 7 days notice.

- Every effort will be made by the facility to avoid cancelling any confirmed reservation. However, in the event of an emergency, beyond the control of the facility, a confirmed reservation may be cancelled. Should an event be cancelled for this reason, it will be rescheduled at a convenient time for the group and the facility. If rescheduling cannot be done, a full refund will be given. Refunds will not be given for cancellations due to rain.
