Whangārei Aquatic Centre Accessibility

At Whangārei Aquatic Centre, accessibility is a top priority and we strive to provide a comfortable and inclusive environment for all customers.
The entire facility is ramp accessible, allowing easy entry and movement throughout the building.

We offer a full-access disability changing room adjacent to our Hydrotherapy Pool equipped with an adjustable bed, hoist, toilet and sink. We have two additional changing rooms which are wheelchair accessible and contain an accessible shower, bench seat, toilet and sink.

To further enhance the accessibility of our pool areas, we have aqua wheelchairs, a portable pool hoist and sloped pool access steps.
