Suspensions and Cancellations

Sometimes you start a membership with the best of intentions, but life happens - you get sick, lose your job or have to move away.

If you want to retain your membership, but have to take some time off, we may be able to suspend your payments for a while until you are ready to start again or, if you have paid for your membership in cash, we may be able to add time on to the end equivalent to the amount of time you have off.

However, sometimes circumstances require that you terminate your membership. 

If you have a cash membership, we can't buy out the unused balance, but you can pass it on to a friend or family member.

If you are paying by direct debit, there are some rules in the contract that have to be followed:

  1. You must give at least 10 days notice.
  2. If you are cancelling before you have completed the minimum term you will need to pay 25% of the remaining balance or $150 - whichever is the lesser.
  3. The contract can not be cancelled until all outstanding payments are made.
