Counties Sports Leaders Breakfast
Last Friday the CLM Community Sport team hosted their quarterly ‘Sports Leaders Breakfast’ for the regional sports organisations of Counties Manukau. The breakfast allows sports code leaders to get an update on the sector as a whole, but more importantly collaborate and network with each other.
It was great to hear the positive stories of the innovation and collaboration happening within our communities. Covid 19 has been rough on our sports clubs, but at the same time, allowed us to reflect on how our codes operate. The sharing of ideas and concerns, for sport in our communities, will allow us to resolve these quicker and provide better opportunities for our Rangitahi and Tamariki.
