Pasifika Touch Carnival a hit for tamariki in South Auckland!
Pasifika Touch Carnival a hit for tamariki in South Auckland!
July saw the launch of Pā Pasifika - a junior touch carnival held at Gallaher Park, Manurewa. Supported with Tu Manawa funding, this kaupapa was a free, fun day of touch for pasifika tamariki!
Organised in collaboration with Pacific Cup Participating Nations (Cook Islands, Tonga, Niue, Samoa & NZ Maori), the initiative delivered activities and games, in an effort to engage tamariki and rangatahi.
Catch all the action from this awesome event in this video - congratulations to the Pacific Cup Sports Trust and the various other community stakeholders who worked together to make this happen for our community.
