Healthy Active Learning is a joint initiative with Sport New Zealand and the Ministries of Health and Education to work with 800 primary and intermediate schools and kura across the country. The intention is to help improve the wellbeing of children and young people through healthy eating and drinking and quality physical activity.

Our Regional Sports Directors are responsible for supporting Sport NZ and Aktive’s strategic responses to enhancing quality physical activity experiences for rangatahi in regard to play, physical education, active recreation and sport.

Water Skills for Life

Water Skills for Life

Developed by Water Safey New Zealand. Water Skills for Life provides freely available resources aimed at enhancing the quality and focus of aquatic programmes. The programme emphasis age-appropriate skills relevant to environments where drownings most commonly occur, such as beaches, rivers and lakes.

Tū Manawa

Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa provides funding for programmes or projects delivering play, active recreation and sport experiences for tamariki and rangatahi.

Supporting our coaches 

At CLM Community sport our role its to promote, educate, recruit and encourage coaches to engage in the array of programme and workshops available to assist with coach development in sports clubs.
