Craig Carter

CEO / Director


Born and raised in Counties Manukau, Craig developed his love for sport and the benefits that come with it from a young age either participating or on the sideline supporting. Craig has over 30 years’ experience in the Leisure industry, which started with North Shore City Council in the facility management space. After completing his business degree Craig started work with CLM as a seasonal Lifeguard whilst at university and worked his way to his current position of CEO. Craig is very proud to lead and work alongside a great CLM team that is focused on providing customers and communities outstanding leisure experiences. Craig has been involved in governance roles with Counties Manukau netball and rugby for a combined 16 years. Craig is currently on the NZ Barbarians executive and on the sideline of his daughter’s sporting endeavours.

Kirsty Knowles

General Manager of Operations / Director


Kirsty has extensive experience in facility management including HR, Health and Safety and operations. In her role, Kirsty provides support to CLM facilities in areas including training and development, aquatics operations, internal audits, health and safety systems and procedures and compliancy. Kirsty has provided operational reviews at a number of Local Authority aquatic facilities highlighting potential efficiencies and improvements. With a career spanning over 15 years, Kirsty has a passion for providing safe, fun facilities with professional staff.

Bridget Cairns

General Manager of Projects & Customer Service


Bridget has worked with CLM in a number of roles for over 15 years, the experience Bridget gained as a Facility Manager as well as in both the aquatic and customer service departments has laid a strong foundation for her current role. Bridget provides training and support to CLM facilities with the computer operating system, administration and reception processes as well as conducting Cash Handling & Admin Audits. Bridget manages the relationships with CLM's retail brands, assists with all aspects of our retail operations and oversees CLM's internal brand of Goggles & Swim Equipment (Korora).

Tom Mann

General Manager of Marketing and Business Development


With over 10 years experience in the recreation, sport and leisure industry, Tom is charged with leading the marketing team in developing and delivering cost effective, quality marketing and communications that create cut through and deliver results for the CLM facilities. Tom is passionate about our sector and draws on a background in event management, community sport programming and social sports leagues to further support the CLM team.

Pierre Holland

Aquatics Operations Manager


Pierre has a comprehensive background which includes managing several large aquatic facilities as well as large facilities overseas. Pierre provides support to the CLM network I areas of operations, health and safety, emergency response, water treatment compliancy, training, aquatic compliancy, processes, and online operations.

Lynn Cartwright

General Manager of Programmes and Community Engagement


Lynn has worked for CLM since 2009 and now holds the role of General Manager of Programmes and Community Engagement.

Within her role, Lynn drives continual growth in CLM’s core business units; including Fitness by CLM, the Chill Out kids programme, and SwimMagic swim school. With a goal to increase participation and drive efficiency, she looks to identify and implement streamlined solutions across each of these programmes to ensure maximum benefit for the community.

With Lynn's expertise in swim school management she has been asked to do a number of consultancy jobs around New Zealand to review current operations and provide feedback on how to make improvements.

Geoff Barton

Geoff Barton has been instrumental in the recreation industry for over 30 years. His journey began as a facility cleaner, culminating in his current position as the General Manager of IT at CLM. Throughout, he has championed the integration of efficient systems with proficient teams. His roles have ranged from managing individual Fitness Centres and Recreation Centres to supporting 15 fitness centres. Additionally, as a proud individual of Māori descent, Geoff mentors in the Kahu Kōrako program, aiding Māori leadership development. He's an alumnus of the University of Otago with a Diploma in Sport Studies and holds multiple awards and certifications, reinforcing his expertise.

Mike Bishop

CLM Health & Fitness National Manager


Mike has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years and worked for CLM for the past 10 years as a Fitness Manager and more recently in his current role of National Fitness Manager. In his role Mike oversees CLM's Fitness Centres and works alongside facility managers and gym coordinators to ensure they are running as efficiently and effectively as possible. Mike is an ex competitive international gymnast and gives back to the sport by judging at various competitions around the country.

Neven Latimer

Community Programmes Manager


Neven had his first experience with OSCAR Childcare Programmes in 1997 as a volunteer on a School Holiday. 20 years later, Neven has built a vast knowledge of community programming experience both in New Zealand and abroad. In his current role held since 2010, Neven supports the Chill Out Before/ After School Programmes and School Holiday Programmes across the country. His role also includes support in Stadiums and Sport Leagues, Community Events and Aquatic Programmes for children.

Emmett Feeley

Sustainability Projects Manager


Emmett has business management experience in both NZ and abroad, working in a variety of roles from running an eco apparel company to managing sustainability projects.
Since starting with CLM in 2016 as a facility manager Emmett has gained a solid understanding of our facilities and is now coupling this knowledge with his environmental studies to bring a sustainability focus to our facilities nationwide.

Brittany Hastings-Kutty

Events & Activations Manager


Brittany began working with CLM in 2014 as her first job. Starting as a lifeguard, she worked through many departments while completing her school and university studies. Brittany then travelled the world on an OE and is now back as our Events & Activations manager. In this role, Brittany organises and delivers various projects across our sites and in our community such as the Building Champions school obstacle courses, the HER project and Auckland Council’s Out & About programme. If you cant find her next to the inflatables, you will find her working as a physio out in the community.

Creative Director


Ram has worked with CLM since 2017, bringing an extensive creative professional experience from the Philippines. He has worked alongside a number of brands from the industries of publishing, advertising, events and telecommunications. Currently, he spearheads the creatives and branding for the company ensuring all CLM facilities have the collateral to effectively reach their target audiences.

Andrea is a positive and sociable person who works alongside each CLM facility to ensure their digital presence across the web and social is both on-brand and effective.

Nicky Bird

Financial Controller


Nicky comes from a strong banking background. After working as a bank teller/customer service representative in Wellington and Melbourne, she returned to Wellington to spend the next nine years working in Foreign Exchange. Nicky has worked for CLM for fifteen years and is responsible for managing the overall cash flow and financial position of the CLM Group. She is directly responsible for Payroll and Monthly Financial accounts and reports for the CLM Facilities in Northland, the lower North Island, and the South Island.

Nicole Parker

Office Manager


Nicole brings to CLM and SwimMagic 12 years of relevant industry experience and has been a key person within the Support Office Accounts department for five years. During this time Nicole has been involved in the development and establishment of many systems both in the accounts and administration areas of the business but also within the SwimMagic programme. Her experience working across multiple sites and within the different business units makes her a hugely valuable asset to the team.

Deborah Nesti

CLM Accountant


Deborah has worked with CLM since the early 2000’s, and has seen the business steadily grow since then. As a Chartered Accountant, Deborah is involved in preparing the annual accounts (including consolidated figures for the group) and filing the income tax returns with Inland Revenue each year. She also advises on tax planning matters as they arise.
