In line with the recent rising of Matariki & Puanga (signalling the beginning of the Māori New Year) the Kāhu Kōrako programme, kicked off again in Te Tai Tokerau.

79% of Bay Dreams - South Island waste diverted away from landfill
The event created 85.4m3 of waste, with only 18m3 going to landfill. The majority of the waste was made up of recycling (53.4m3) and composting (14m3).
