Kanae Atsumi wins Recreation Aotearoa 2021 Life Guard of the Year

Kanae demonstrates all the key characteristics of a truly professional lifeguard, making her the perfect recipient for the Lifeguard of the Year Award. Kanae demonstrates on a day to day basis what it is to be an outstanding lifeguard and is an inspiration to new staff and staff who return season after season to Parnell Baths to work with and learn from her.

CLM CEO Craig Carter, is incredibly proud of Kanae saying, “It has always been a pleasure to have Kanae as part of our team. Whenever you walk in to a facility and see Kanae poolside you know the customers will be well looked after and safe. I know Kanae is hugely highly regarded by her team and peers and we are fortunate to have her part of CLM. Kanae has always impressed me with her work ethic and professionalism and this has been further highlighted through the training a group of us are doing under Kanae currently.”
