Our aim is to teach the valuable life skill of swimming to you and your family, through a simplistic, positive and fun approach.
Lessons For All Ages
SwimMagic at Lido Aquatic Centre is made up of specialised programmes that cater from 6 months old through to competitive swimmers and adults.
Magic moments
Babies & Toddlers (6 months - 3 years)
Our specialised baby, tots and toddlers programme ensures that through exploration, play, songs, challenges and water safety practices, each child is given every opportunity to develop to their full potential.
Pre-school programme
3-5 years old
From the outset SwimMagic aims to have children as safe as possible in, on and around water. We focus almost solely on body position and kick exercises to speed up progress for our youngest swimmers.
School age programme
5 years +
The SwimMagic school age programme is unparalleled. We have utilised the experience and knowledge of over 200 instructors to develop a consistent system that is being constantly improved and refined.
Swimming squads
While most swim schools are structured with goals focused around distance, SwimMagic has decided to progress children through squad levels based on their ability to hold technique.
Adult swimming lessons
SwimMagic's adult programme caters for absolute beginners through to competent swimmers looking to improve their technique.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to kick start your swimming. Private lessons are a must for any one who maybe nervous about being in the water, may not like being in group classes or for those people who just need some technique correction.

Splash Time
Join in the fun with Splash Time every week! Splash Time is a play session designed for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with loads of toys, equipment, bubbles, and music, along with an experienced instructor for questions about water safety and confidence. Play is the focus and fun is the goal!

FAQ's
What happens with my weekly payments over the Christmas and Easter breaks?
Over this period an automatic payment suspension will be placed on your booking at no charge and reactivated upon commencement of lessons.
Will lessons run in the school holidays?
Yes, the lesson day and time remains the same. The only exception will be the 1 week break at Easter and 3 week break over Christmas.
What happens if we are away or unable to swim during the school holidays?
You can use your suspension allocation by going to the client portal through our website.
How do I cancel my enrolment?
You can cancel at anytime with 10 days notice. You must request a cancellation form from the Swim School and this must be completed and returned to the swim school within the notice period for it to be actioned.
Do I get any discount if I have multiple swimmers?
Yes you get 10% off if you have 3 swimmers or more. Please let the facility know when you sign up.
